I spent over two decades managing pipeline construction crews before anyone thought to ask whether my brain worked differently.

By the time I got diagnosed with ADHD at 47, I had already built a career that worked. Projects delivered. Safety records intact. Crews that functioned. From the outside nothing looked broken.

From the inside I had been running infrastructure nobody could see — exact-minute morning routines, elaborate preparation systems, mental frameworks I constructed before every shift because without them the day went sideways in ways I couldn't explain. I didn't have language for any of it. I just knew what worked and what didn't.

Getting diagnosed didn't change who I was. It changed how I understood every single thing I'd ever done.

The Knowledge Lab Inc. exists because of what came after that diagnosis. I started looking for practical tools built specifically for neurodivergent professionals — people who'd been performing in demanding environments without knowing why it cost so much. What I found was either too clinical, too generic, or written for someone who'd never spent a day on a job site in their life.

So I built what didn't exist.
